Photographic PROCSSS
A Walking Practice & a New Zine Release

*If you are a subscriber to the original Archival Recordings newsletter, this is the next stage of its evolution. I've combined my photo practice with my larger creative vision so you'll get a more complete picture of what Nonstndrd Creative Projects is about. I hope you continue to enjoy the newsletter!
Welcome to a (mostly) photography focused edition of PROCSSS where I'll be going into some detail about what the current version of my photo practice is like and how I rediscovered the joy of pressing the shutter.
My journey as a serious photographer started unintentionally a little over 20 years ago. It was the early 00's and I was living on my own in Koreatown, near the intersection of Western Ave. and Olympic Blvd. Gentrification was starting to noticeably transform this part of the city and I had some strong feelings about the way the area was changing. I started taking pictures of structures and places that were disappearing and, because I didn't drive at the time, walking and public transportation were how I got around. This detail actually turned out to be a critical part of my workflow.
