Who am I?
I've had a pretty wild journey as a creative professional. I've started working regularly as a photographer in 2015, freelancing for local publications like L.A. Taco and Curbed Los Angeles. My focus has always been the urban landscape and neighborhoods and at the time, there was a lot of demand for that type of work. Things REALLY took off for me in 2017 when I was named one of Time magazine's 12 African American Photographers to Follow. That accomplishment was followed by a feature in The New York Times, several projects for KCET and work on the Netflix show City of Ghosts as a background photographer. Things were going well until the pandemic happened and the bottom fell out of my freelance career.

From that point, I regrouped and decided to focus on my roots as an artist and designer. I began designing and selling a series of photo zines called "The Public Work" that documented the Covid shut downs, landing another feature in the Arts section of the New York Times in 2020. In 2022 I was named one of two inaugural Creators in Residence for the Los Angeles Public Library, resulting in a yearlong exhibition and two publications, including the acclaimed The Library Zine.
